i agree and disagree to a certain degree.
start of the season, teams seemed to concentrate a bigger emphasis on defence and to not give away too much, this culminates with the whole lucractivity (if theres such a word) money wise the EPL brings so everyone is trying to put in some good foundations 1st half of the season so they are not lurking in too much relegation area, the xmas fixtures is a pain too, the pile up is appalling and one fo the worst times to bet on the EPL as team are playing matches every 2days or so for 3/4 matches...this creates managers with big injury, fatigue and squad rotational problems.
i factor i reckon maks the above more obvious was the average o/u line, this 1st half to the season, i have seen more 2.25 (2.0, 2.5) lines than ive seen in te EPL for a while, were the past common average is 2.5 from what i remember.
right now, the 2nd half of the season is starting to bare more fruit & nicer to punt on imo, teams have more focus on what their season will offer them, survival, mid-table, uefa or CL...etc
GL for the rest of the season
